根据名记Shams此前的报道，凯里-欧文拒绝执行2025-26赛季价值4300万美元的球员合同，与独行侠签下三年1.19亿美元的合同。这份合同包括2027-28赛季的球员选项。
名记Marc Stein表示，欧文新合同的薪水让独行侠能够解锁570万迷你中产特例。这样在欧文恢复ACL期间，独行侠能够在自由市场寻求一名主力后卫。
