据此前报道，林葳几乎锁定了拉斯维加斯夏季联赛名额。林葳在选秀大会前参加了独行侠的试训，整体表现得到一定认可。林葳经纪团队表示，独行侠有意邀请林葳代表球队参加夏季联赛，但由于其他球队也表达了相似意愿，因而林葳方面还需要进一步进行综合考虑后才能做出最终的决定。
