此前据Shams报道，火箭与亚当斯的续约合同为3年3900万美元。
“自去年12月以来，亚当斯在球队正负值（+189）上排名第二。他平均每36分钟上场时间可抢下7.5个进攻篮板，这是单赛季出场40场及以上球员的最高纪录。”火箭官推写道。
2024-25赛季，亚当斯为火箭出战了57场常规赛，场均3.9分5.7篮板0.5盖帽，投篮命中率54.5%；季后赛出战7场，场均5.7分6.6篮板1.1盖帽，投篮命中率60%。
