CBA联赛季后赛的历史上，朱芳雨是最具代表性的球员之一，不仅是季后赛历史得分王（2703分），更是季后赛总得分突破2000分时最年轻的球员。
2011年4月20日，2010-2011赛季CBA联赛季后赛总决赛第3场，广东东莞银行85-118不敌新疆广汇汽车。该场对决，朱芳雨出场时间超过35分钟，全场10投4中，其中三分球7投2中，得到10分5篮板3抢断。此役战罢，朱芳雨CBA联赛季后赛生涯总得分就此达到2001分，成为史上第三位季后赛总得分突破2000分的球员。
迄今为止，季后赛总得分突破2000分的球员只有5人，当时朱芳雨年龄为28岁106天，所用场次为105场。另外4人分别是李楠（32岁192天）、刘玉栋 （37岁87天）、易建联 （30岁147天）、哈德森 （33岁253天）。上述5人中，朱芳雨是达成季后赛2000分里程碑最年轻的球员。
