Shams还表示，布克创造了“提前续约”中的NBA历史最高平均年薪（7250万，此前亚历山大是平均7125万）。
布克提前续约之前的与太阳的合同会在2028年夏天结束，提前续约之后，则是会在2030年夏天结束。
